Maryland Rural Development Corporation (MRDC) is a private non-profit organization that has been providing services in response to the needs of rural, low-income households and communities since 1986. MRDC serves as Caroline, Cecil, and Kent Counties as the official Community Action Agency and provides additional programs and services throughout the state.
Every day the Maryland Rural Development Foundation works to provide philanthropic funds to enable services and programs directed towards low-income and working poor families living in Rural Maryland communities. MRDC is focused on the social determinants of health and fighting the effects of poverty to lift individuals and families and communities into self-sufficiency.
